Campaign Update

Hello Kingdom Team Fans,
We are very grateful for your support and excited to tell you we won our first event! After our first international training camp, we took first place in 69Fsailing Grand Prix 1.2 held at the beautiful Lake Garda, Gargnano. A good start of our Youth Americas Cup campaign and lots learned.

New partnership – Magic Marine
The other big news is we that will be partnering with Magic Marine for our racing gear! We are proud to sail in the same gear as icons in sailing, like Santiago Lange and the rest of the Magic Marine Team.

69F Sailing wrote an article on the event and our victory:

“There are many different ways to send messages to your opponents. For example, if your goal is to train for the Youth America’s Cup, you could go to Gargnano, participate in the Grand Prix 1.2 of the Persico 69F CUP – the only foil monotype for crew currently available to train on for the important event in February 2021 – and win; perhaps in the last available race, perhaps even beating some crews with Olympians on board; you could also win five runs out of 12 race, including – and decisively – the last run worth double-points.”

69F also wrote an article introducing our team members.

Two athletes at the top of the 49er(FX) class, a Laser Radial U19 World Champion, and a young man who at 21 won an Atlantic crossing race already. It was clear from the start that the Dutch were natural-born navigators, that they were determined, and that they wanted to challenge the world.
